It’s getting closer! Maragaret Fisher has been scheduled for October 3 and 4. The classes for Saturday are Seven Things That Can Make Or Break a Sweater (9:00 AM - Noon) and Sensational Slip Stitches (1:00 PM -4:00 PM). The classes on Sunday will be Advanced Finishing Techniques (9:00 AM to Noon) and Intro to Entrelac (1:00 PM – 4:00 PM). Prices are $45 for 1 session, $85 for 2 sessions, $125 for 3 sessions and $160 for 4 sessions. For more info call the store.
NEW ARRIVALS
The Aslan Trends is starting to come in. The Artesanal is my personal favorite. We also have some Santa Fe and Bariloche. Check out those colors! The Manos is here, too! Wool Classica and the Silk Blend and so beautiful and the silk blend is super soft and has a very nice sheen. We also got new Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sock and a couple Pearl kits. The Pearl yarn is 50/50 Silk/Bamboo and so smooth and soft. It’s a must feel yarn. There are tons of new books, too. Books for mittens, socks, baby blankets, colorwork, and Christmas Stockings (87 days left!).
BOOK CLUB
This month we’re reading The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. We’ll be meeting the third Saturday of October instead of the second. This mean it will be October 17th at 10:30 AM.
WINTER HOURS
Starting this weekend, we will be open until 5:30 on Saturdays.
